The work was done promptly and I was able to wait for the repair to be completed. That was a great positive. The service writer explained to me that the person I had spoken to when I made the appointment failed to put down that I needed the clutch fluid to be replaced as well. Apparently this task needs gaskets and requires quite a bit of labor and so I could not have that work done. They did offer to schedule it at another time, but my schedule is very tight and I’m unable to bring the car in again for a while. The one negative was that there was brake fluid all over my steering wheel so when I drove the car home. I got to smell it on my hands and on the string wheel the whole way. By today’s standards, I guess the service was good, but having been a service attack myself for over 30 years it could be better.

Brandon never pushed me toward something I didn’t want. He was knowledgeable about every model I asked about and gave honest comparisons without pressuring me to buy right away. I appreciated how he walked me through the car setup process and answered all my questions. The entire process - from selection to purchase - was smooth, transparent, and respectful. Particularly impactful was that upon parting ways with our new car, he said: “You have my number if you have any questions. Our relationship doesn’t end just because you bought the car.” That level of care made the experience stand out and earned my long-term loyalty.

I had a appointment at 11:00am on May 5. I waiting at the dealership while my car was being diagnosed for all wheel drive service light. The car sat in the parking lot for 1 hour before being taken in the garage. I am satisfied that mechanic found the problem and fixed it.I don't know what the policy is at Paul Masse for billing. Is it by appointment time or actual time working on the vehicle. I feel like the bill was a little high for 1-1/2 hours of service.

I went for an oil change and had issues with voltage and a tire that had a slow leak due to a nail. The voltage issue returned after the battery terminal was cleaned. I then noticed issues with slowed wiper motor and Air conditioning was intermittent. The tire issue was fixed. I called to have other issues diagnosed and it was determined that the AC compressor was failing and needed to be replaced. They took care of it all under my extended warranty and only paid $90 out of pocket. So far so good , time will tell.

Sunday, 05/18/2025, after a ling drive and a brief stop, my Equinox refused to start. Luckily by that time I was near home, so I had AAA tow the vehicle to Paul Massee Chevrolet. Being Sunday the shop was closed, so I left the Key along with a note. The next day, mid morning, I called Massee's and discovered that the problem had been diagnosed and fixed. Several hours later one of their employees picked me up at home, drove me to the Dealership where I retrieved my car. Everything worked out well. I could not have asked for more!

My co-worker referred me to Brandon DeMarco in Wakefield. I was not disappointed. He was very responsive to my email and phone communication. I told him what truck and payments I wanted and the trade-in I had. Within 20 minutes, he reached out to me and pulled off the deal. He was very respectful and professional. Always answered my texts if I had a question. When I picked up my truck, he made the process smooth and explained everything in detail. I then went to Finance, and Cameron was awesome, again very professional and detailed. Brandon then spent over 30 minutes explaining every feature in the truck and how to set it up. The dealership in Wakefield was very friendly and accommodating to its customers. The General Manager, Michelle Masse, personally greeted me, and she was very friendly. Then Edwin in sales took over great help and again he knew his product, just did a great job .. the electronic side of the vehicle he was very impressive .. Set everything up when I picked up the vehicle impeccable on inspection of the vehicle attention to detail and how all the electronics work and set me all up with.on star syncing my phone to the vehicle and overall explanation of every little detail of the vehicle was impeccable just I great job ! And very sincere !! Then I talked with cam with finance again very impressed!!! was not aware of Chevy having there own extended warranty. Very happy with that. Went with a full extended warranty .. value was very good. explained everything on it plus financial options just first class experience he was very understanding and it was a Fantastic experience well worth the one hour and a half drive. Right from start I had a great experience. Ed Alfero and Cam Bourassa handled my purchase and financing with my trade in a very efficient manner. I went in and completed the paperwork nd was able to review forms online. I spent some time with Cam to get the warranty that I wanted and afterwards spent time with Ed to go through all of the buttons in the car and the On Star and GM app. Ed helped me to understand all the features of the car and what I can do on the app. I really appreciated they time they took with me.

When shown the truck I was buying it was missing multiple things shown on the sticker. (Black lettering, sports bar, side bar steps, light on sports bar) Additionally, the second key was missing After purchasing the vehicle I had to come back a week later and drop it off overnight to have those additions added to the truck. They should’ve been on truck at delivery I was told the truck would be ready at 8 AM the next morning. It was not I had to wait till 1030 to be able to drive away my trunk. The truck came with a bed cover. That is not compatible with a sports bar, but both of those items are on the sticker. Why would a truck be sold with parts that cannot be used

Krystal in service was nice, but the prices are outrageous. I could have gotten a starter for less than $300 but dealership charged over $500. I was charged $742 for labor the work if done by a qualified technician should have taken no more then 3 hours including the time spent on replacing the serpentine belt. I was quoted $1600 to replace the front and back rotors and pads, if you want to check back with me in about a week I will tell you what I paid to have them replaced. Prices like yours is why I won’t bring my car back there.

Had a great experience with a tire replacement. The only issue with my rating was the parts department. Charging $76+ over retail pricing plus $50 for mounting/balance is insane. I challenged the pricing but was told there's nothing that can be done. My pricing was directly from Sullivan tire as this is your distributor. $470 for a $310(retail cost) tire mounted and balanced that I had to still install myself is insane. I could have went to Sullivan in warwick directly and paid $349 installed. These practices just push people away from your dealership and I will bring my business elsewhere for parts in the future. If every employee that works there knows the pricing is insane but your parts department then you have a major issue. This is isolated to Paul Massee South only.

I called numerous times problem reaching service department. When I did I was told by service tech I didn’t have tire and rim coverage, I’m sitting in a parking lot with my air pressure lowering by the minute. I then hung up called East Providence Dealer to get assistance only to find out the salesman I had no longer works there was referred to another Chris. I asked if he could look up my coverage and he stated he would have to ask someone else and call me back. Well he called me back. Shortly and said I did and I asked if he could notify or send something to the south location. Now, I’m broke down on 95 with a flat and no one picks up at the south service department so I could verify they received something. Just a whole lot of confusion over a flat tire and the years I have been leasing from Paul Masse was very discouraging that I had to do mist the leg work for my own tire.

The price was right for the work I had done to my Silverado. The waiting area is comfortable and well stocked with fresh coffee and snacks. The dealership is located on Main Street in Wakefield. It is an easy walk to visit shops and restaurants nearby. There is a beautiful River Walk immediately behind the dealership. Moreover, the work done by their technicians has always been first class. Made appointment at usual dealership and Gianna made it in Wakefield with no communication to me. Went to Siuth Kingstown store and service writer couldn’t find my appointment. Told him was a recall. I asked parts guy to see if part was here and said no. Service writer said let me check Wakefield and see if appointment is there. I said can you call them for the part? He said they had one reserved but couldn’t tell who it was for. Had to rush there to see if they were expecting me. Service writers make excuses they are new. Mechanic was nice and did work on the car. I said as an observation that the service writers should look at appointments ahead of time to see if parts etc are in . I drove from Boston for this appointment. Very disapointed

We had an illuminated MIL with P2797 and P0AC4 codes on our 2023 Bolt with 34k miles. We made an appointment for it to be checked, and the advisor recommended a tire rotation which we agreed to. They rotated the tires and told my wife there would be a $170 diagnostic fee to investigate the codes. After she called and asked me about that, I called the dealership and asked if it would be covered under the 3 year/36k bumper to bumper warranty. The service advisor I spoke with said it would be, so I told him to go ahead and do the diagnostics. I called my wife back and told her they would take care of it under the warranty. After waiting another hour or two, my wife checked in with the advisor who told her nobody told him about my phone call and nobody had performed further diagnostics. My wife had other obligations, so the advisor recommended she make another appointment which she did. What bothers me about this is we set aside time to have the car checked, and neither of the two advisors or, apparently, the tech who rotated the tires, seemed to have noticed that the car was within the 3 year/36k warranty. As someone who has worked in dealerships and performed warranty work, this is surprising and disappointing to me. Moreover, my wife essentially wasted half a day that was intended to have the car checked for a particular problem, but that mission was not accomplished. For these reasons, Paul Masse Chevrolet in Wakefield gets 1 star on this service visit.
